Subjects Taught
English I

I am a December 2015 Graduate of Athens State University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language Arts/Secondary Education.

I earned a General Studies Associate's Degree from Calhoun Community College in May of 2013.

This will be my first year as a full time teacher in Lincoln County Schools.

I have been a substitute for Limestone County Schools in Alabama since I graduated,  and I have also taught developmental English at Calhoun Community College for the Spring and Summer of 2016.

I also have worked in the Writing Lab at Calhoun and at Athens State University.

My name is Bridgette Pylant and I am very excited to begin my Career at NGA.   I have been married to my husband Preston for 15 years,  and we have two boys.  Andrew is 12,  and Jack is 9.   We also have a 3 legged cat named Toby.   I enjoy reading,  writing, and traveling.  My goal is to one day visit England and see where all of my favorite English authors lived and worked.
